Meeting Time
First Monday evening of each month at 7pm in the Conference Room at Sunset Drive
UMC. Each meeting includes a program to educate or enrich our lives and provides a
time for the United Methodist Women (UMW) to come together for fellowship and a
time to provide support for one another.
Events & Programs
Through out the year the UMW hosts many different types of activities, they include
the Valentines Day Social, the Mother's Day Banquet for all women of the church,
a ladies only picnic and UMW Sunday where once a year the women present the worship
service and provide a guest speaker relevant to the UMW purpose.
Missions & Outreach
The Red Bird Mission located in Kentucky, and Operation Christmas Child are just a
couple of the many activities that the UMW supports with our gifts and prayers.
The Angel's Workshop is a craft group organized for fellowship and to raise funds for
mission work. The group meets on Monday mornings from 10am to 12 noon and Monday
evennings from 6:30 to 8:30pm with an annual community wide sale held in
September at the church in the new fellowship hall.
